ABOUT PAT CUPOLI

Patricia Cupoli has been an IT professional for over 25 years, concentrating in the areas of Data Governance, Data Warehousing, Metadata Solutions and Repositories, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, IT Strategic Planning, Online Course Development & Education, and Librarianship/Information Science. She is currently an Enterprise Data Architect at a healthcare insurance company, and has a MBA and MS in Library Science.

Pat is editor of DAMA-DMBOK2 (The DAMA Guide to the Data Management Body of Knowledge), DAMA International ICCP Director, and Project Manager for Data Exam Development. She is a past ICCP Board President, and a past president of DAMA International, DAMA Chicago, and DAMA Philadelphia/Delaware Valley chapters. Pat has presented at many DAMA and TDWI conferences, and has published professionally. She is an author contributor for two DAMA-DMBOK chapters: "Documents and Content Management" and "Professional Development." Pat is the 2006 winner of the DAMA International Professional Award. ABOUT BARRY DEVLIN

Barry Devlin is among the foremost authorities on business insight and one of the founders of data warehousing, having published the first architectural paper on the topic in 1988. With over 30 years of IT experience, including 20 years with IBM as a Distinguished Engineer, he is a widely respected analyst, consultant, lecturer, and author of the seminal book Data Warehouse—from Architecture to Implementation and numerous White Papers.
 
Barry is founder and principal of 9sight Consulting. He specializes in the human, organizational, and IT implications of deep business insight solutions that combine operational, informational, and collaborative environments. A regular contributor to BeyeNETWORK, Focus, SmartDataCollective, and TDWI, Barry is based in Cape Town, South Africa and operates worldwide.

ABOUT RAYMONG NG

Raymond Ng is a professor in computer science at the University of British Columbia. He is internationally renowned for his data mining studies and has published over 100 journal and conference papers covering a broad range of topics in informatics, data mining, and databases. He has won Best Paper awards from the ACM SIGKDD conference on data mining and the ACM SIGMOD conference on database management. 

For the past few years, Raymond has been one of the editors of two top database journals worldwide: the VLDB Journal and the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering. He was the general chair of ACM SIGMOD 2008 and the program chair of IEEE ICDE 2009.

ABOUT STEPHEN PETSCHULAT

Stephen Petschulat is a Senior Architect at SAP Research. Prior to joining the Research group he was the lead architect for the Advanced Analytics product area within SAP BusinessObjects. His interests include data analysis, information visualization, UI technologies, and distributed computing. Stephen is a member of the ACM Professions Board.
