From 3:05 am EDT to 12:50 pm EDT Sunday, March 18, parts of the ACM site were unavailable. The Learning Center, Techpacks, Awards, and Join/Renew forms were affected. Email forwarding service to acm.org addresses was suspended during this period, with messages spooled and released once system availability was reestablished.
From 2:30 PM EST to 7:00 PM EST Thursday October 7, parts of the ACM site were unavailable due to unscheduled maintenance. Affected services included online renewals. The issue is resolved now.
From 5:00 PM EST Wednesday June 16 to 2:00 AM EST Thursday June 17, parts of the ACM site were unavailable due to unscheduled maintenance. Affected services included search on the Online Books & Courses site (pd.acm.org), acmqueue, and XRDS. The issue is resolved now.
From 11:30 PM EST Tuesday March 23 to 3:00 AM EST Wednesday March 24, parts of the ACM site were unavailable due to unscheduled maintenance.
Affected services included Online Renewals, the Digital Library, myACM, and the Professional Development Centre.
Email forwarding was not affected.
We apologize for the problems caused by our lapsed member survey email distribution list. Our intention was to gather feedback from our former members. Unfortunately, due to human error, replies from individuals were posted to the list, causing multiple messages to get distributed to you. We corrected the problem and put in additional safeguards to prevent this error in the future.
As of 9:30 PM EST Tuesday December 15, parts of the ACM site were unavailable due to required maintenance.
Affected services included Online Renewals; the Advanced Member Grades Nomination, Endorsement, and Tracking applications; the Digital Library, Queue, CACM, ELearn, MyACM, Professional Development Centre, QuickJoin, Account, and Message Center management.
Email forwarding was not affected, but logging in to your folders was not available.
The problem was resolved 4:45 AM EST on Thursday, December 17.
Due to unscheduled server maintenance, there were intermittent problems with the Portal during the morning and afternoon, affecting access. They have been resolved.
